I know I haven't written in awhile. I 've been sick and busy with various things. And I haven't had a lot to say.

But I have good news to share today.

Last night, I was voted onto the Board of Directors for the Young Fund of the Children's Hospital Foundation. It's a group of young professionals supporting the Children's Hospital. As a Board member, I will be chairing the Volunteer Opportunities committee. So far, I've been helping to coordinate a bedtime storytime at the hospital. We hope to add more opportunities in the future. I'm really excited about it. It is helping me to get one step closer to my goal of working in a nonprofit.
