Well, I got to experience my second earthquake last night. I was watching television and the house started shaking as if a giant truck had just driven by. It wasn't enough to knock anything down. Toulouse didn't care for it. He jumped up on the couch with me. It is a very strange feeling indeed. I hope that is the only Halloween trick that I get this year.
I have a feeling that it will be a pretty low-key Halloween for me today. I hope you all have a wonderful holiday filled with lots of candy!
I heard about the earthquake on the news, but I thought it was far south of you. Man, that's gotta be a freaky thing to experience the first few times. I've never had the pleasure (huh?).
ReplyDeleteI didn't hear anything about an earthquake, but that's no surprise. We get local news on the front page and sometimes I skim. Glad it wasn't worse. My BIL was living in Los Angeles when there was a big earthquake, about a dozen years ago. They moved to Colorado, but I think it was the smog that drove them out.
