My good buddy Amy shared a story with me yesterday.
Amy is pregnant and on a pretty strict budget. She had a little extra money jangling in her pocket and was really craving a burger so she decided to treat herself at a nice restaurant. Since the place was busy, they seated her at the bar.
When the time came to pay, Amy asked for the check and was told that the other gentleman who had been sitting down the bar from her earlier had paid her bill completely including the tip! The man was already gone so Amy couldn't thank him. He told the waiter he just wanted to "make her day." And he sure did! Now, Amy has that money to use on something else. Maybe her next burger craving!!! What a nice thing for someone to do.
