Earthquake!

Well, I got to experience my second earthquake last night. I was watching television and the house started shaking as if a giant truck had just driven by. It wasn't enough to knock anything down. Toulouse didn't care for it. He jumped up on the couch with me. It is a very strange feeling indeed. I hope that is the only Halloween trick that I get this year.

I have a feeling that it will be a pretty low-key Halloween for me today. I hope you all have a wonderful holiday filled with lots of candy!

I heard about the earthquake on the news, but I thought it was far south of you. Man, that's gotta be a freaky thing to experience the first few times. I've never had the pleasure (huh?).

I didn't hear anything about an earthquake, but that's no surprise. We get local news on the front page and sometimes I skim. Glad it wasn't worse. My BIL was living in Los Angeles when there was a big earthquake, about a dozen years ago. They moved to Colorado, but I think it was the smog that drove them out.
