It is my hubby's birthday today. He turns 46! He told me he's not very excited about his birthday this year. I guess 46 feels old to him. But he doesn't look 46!!!
Hopefully, we'll get to go check out the new Mexican place downtown. It opens today. And tomorrow, we are going to the town's favorite Italian restaurant. We've never been there and we're looking forward to it. I know he would prefer to actually BE in Italy today, but hopefully Italian food will provide a nice distant 2nd place.
Hope he likes his presents!!!

Sounds like a fun couple of days. A friend once told me that if you can do the same number of push-ups or sit-ups as your age, then nobody has any business calling you "old."

Hey everybody! Thanks for your comments. I think he had a good birthday. He got some of his favorite Italian shaving cream, a signed edition of the FOOD LOVER'S GUIDE TO FLORENCE, a gift certificate for a manicure/pedicure (from my mom) and a signed Vladimir Guerrero baseball. Not a bad haul!!!
We're going to the Italian place tonight. Yummy!
Happy belated birthday to your hubby. And, tell him to just be happy he hasn't been married 25 years of his 46. My husband's about to turn 46. He was 20 when we married, poor thing. 25 years with me. No wonder he looks so baggy.
