Through the Wardrobe

I loved the Narnia books by C.S. Lewis as a child. We didn't have Harry Potter then, after all. I have to admit I'm really excited to see the new movie. I bought my ticket today and I'm going to see it on the *giant screen* on Friday night. By myself. I'll let you know how it is. I hope I won't be disappointed because movies seldom live up to books in my opinion. But I have high hopes for it.

I REALLY want to see this movie too! I asked a bunch of people if anyone wants to go this weekend, but no one seemed to. I may follow your example and go by myself. Maybe Friday as well but I also really need to make Christmas candy on Friday.

My book club just re-read The Lion, The Witch and the Wardrobe - I can't wait to see the movie!

You made a point of mentioning that you're going to see the movie by yourself. Do you prefer to see movies solo?

I used to have a friend who thought that it was shameful to see movies by yourself. She actually said that she and her friends used to make fun of people who went to movies alone. I think more people should see movies alone. That way, you don't have your friends making comments all through the film. (Greg!)

I like seeing movies by myself sometimes. You don't need to talk to anyone during a movie, so what's the difference? Sometimes it is nice to have someone to talk to afterwards, though.
