Thank you for all of your kind comments about my silly eye. It wouldn't be so bad if there weren't icky side effects like not being able to sleep, getting headaches from my wonky vision and extreme light sensitivity. You know how silly I feel having to ask my co-workers if we can turn the lights off in our work area? And also when I walk into Starbucks wearing sunglasses and a hat pulled down around my ears to block out the light? People must think I am some sort of freakshow. Now I know how vampires feel. ;)
In other news, I went to my first African Dance class at my gym. It was fun and a pretty darn good workout. I was red in the face and huffing and puffing. I have always loved to dance. I figure that getting some cardio through dance is a good way of tricking myself into exercising. I wish they offered it more than just once a week. It was a little sobering to see myself in the studio mirror. I have this tendency to think that even though I have gained all of this weight, I still look pretty good. I say to myself, "it's okay, you wear it well." Well, when you see yourself in bright light in a full-length studio mirror, you get a reality check. All my weight is on my hips and upper thighs. I look like a pear. Well.....a pear with big boobs. But, like the President, I'm going to "stay the course." (only it's more of a positive thing when I do it)

Hey, I just thought of something. I had trouble with both eyes, last year, and went back and forth from regular doc to allergist with no luck (and I did get an ointment). I was very, very sensitive to light, had constant headaches, etc. It turned out I had a sinus infection. You might ask if the doc is willing to try a round of antibiotics, just in case that's the problem. The ointment was antibiotic, but it didn't work because I had infected eyes but the problem was caused by a different infection that the ointment didn't touch. I finally figured it out, myself, and asked for antibiotics.
I'm so envious of the dance class. I can't find anything unique like that, around here, and I haven't been up to running. I look and feel like The Blob. We should cheer each other on. Go, Malady! You can do it, rah, rah!
Did that help? ;)
That does help, Bookfool! And I am passing the inspiration on to Miss Jasclo who is also on the diet & exercise track.
I will follow up with my doctor on your suggestion. Thank you so much!
